BJU Press did a tremendous job preparing me to roll-out Trove this year. Although we had limited experience with Trove last year - this is our first year fully implementing the curriculum and resources in grades 5 thru 12. I was a bit skeptical about the Trove. I generally fear change. I was thankful for the online training session and that is when I learned that the student textbooks and student workbooks are available on Trove. That has been a GAME CHANGER in my classroom. When we read stories out of our reader, it is wonderful to have the pages displayed on my Smartboard. We are able to highlight words and circle sentences. Also when I assign the worktext pages I can walk them through the directions so much easier. I love that the online trainer taught me how to make a playlist so I can find the ones I need quicker. So as much as I was sad to be forced to change to a new platform, I have quickly become a fan and use it almost daily in my classroom.
